How about a "Clouds" thread?

Anyone fancy posting some of your cloud images?

I often "snap" a cloud image or two, but usually delete them pretty quickly (they rarely match up to what I see in reality) - but sometimes with a little patience, re-composing and a wide variety of processing "styles" some nice images turn out.

I'll start off with a few from yesterday (a couple of these are in the gallery too)...

This selection were snapped with the K1 MkII and F* 300/4.5 and are better bigger !

I take cloud pictures, too. A few random ones from dog walks in 2019, all straight out of camera. And lots more in the archive...

2. 12 Apr 2019, Q-S1 + 06

3.14 Jun 2019, K3 + 18-55mm

That's a great selection of images already - Moody, calming, warming, cooling - so many feelings evoked by these

Here's a couple from August 2020...

and one from 2016...

I'm sure you've got a few more in your archives

It always amazes me just how many tons of water simply sit up there and serenely pass by.

And since reflected cloud has appeared, here are a couple from the archives.

1. North Uist, Outer Hebrides, 2013. It must be art because I suffered for it - the midges at tripod level were vicious .

2. Skye, 2011. No midges .
