Are you looking at the same photo as me????
The space suggest the isolation of the woman working in a man's world. Her face shows so much emotion, exhaustion, pride. I love the fact that it reminds one of a Victorian portrait, whilst showing a very 21st century woman.
It's ok but nothing special. reminds me of the pictures that get taken in those passport booths...
You must have a better class of passport photo than most people.

£12,000 though? Nice work if you can get it.

EDIt: have just checked and is now £910 but that is still over £100 up.
Lots of increases though and as percy says quite substantial.
Must be a cashback offer coming up on lenses where you'll end up paying more than the pre-increase price and be persuaded that you've got a bargain!
Can't blame it on currency weakness at the moment because the pound has been quite strong against most other currencies recently. Risky game they are playing as people will just buy more Tamron and Sigma.

Following on from recent price increases in lenses, some of which were quite substantial are Ricoh struggling financially or are they just involved in cynical marketing practices whereby they offer a 'cashback' only to claw a good proportion of this back by way of a general price increase?
Either way, it doesn't bode well for future sales of the marque at the most competitive time of the year.
