Pentax Prices

I see that Pentax are increasing their prices. If you're thinking of getting a new lens it may be time to start shopping around now . . . . .

Take a look at SRS lens prices

Must admit I haven't kept up with Pentax lens prices lately as I have pretty much what I need so I wouldn't know if they had gone up or not by looking at SRS.

The 60-250 for example has gone up by 20%
If memory serves correctly the 300 has gone up £100, the 200 by £80, the 50-135 by £100.
I'm not sure about others, but several seem to have had a significant increase.

Yeah, I noticed the other day that the 12-24 had gone up in the last few days by over £100...I think it was up to £919 last time i looked.


EDIt: have just checked and is now £910 but that is still over £100 up.
Lots of increases though and as percy says quite substantial.

Must be a cashback offer coming up on lenses where you'll end up paying more than the pre-increase price and be persuaded that you've got a bargain!

Can't blame it on currency weakness at the moment because the pound has been quite strong against most other currencies recently. Risky game they are playing as people will just buy more Tamron and Sigma.

Christmas is coming, and then there are the January sales....!
