Review time in PPG

The problem is there are so many online gallery sites, with enhancements like forums and social networking, that there isn't a lot of point to the PPG if you take away that sense of exclusivity and it being very hard to get an image accepted.

I used to like how the Premier Collection was the first thing you saw when entering the site. I'm sure we all want the site to be a good 'ambassador' for Pentax, and that means keeping all the out of focus duck photos out of view, if not rejecting them from the site altogether!

I have done very little today and have run out of images to vote on 3 times
I uploaded five of my own last night so we will see how long they take

Hang on, make that 4 times, I just voted on two more before they ran out

Voting must be a totally automatic process, unless of course someone is working on new years day, four of the five I uploaded two days ago have been accepted TODAY, my favourite was declined

You've got some mighty fine images in your gallery Alan. The Goldfinch is one of the best I've seen. I had one booted off today, and deservedly so, it was rubbish, which goes to show don't upload under the influence

Three excepted and two rejected that's not bad for the start of the year, shame they did not rocket to the premier collection but I can still dream

Found it. Wow not many portraits in the premier collection....

I've been having a browse of PU members PPG's, I have to say we have some very talented snappers on this forum.

My thoughts as well 'spider, shame I'm not one of them!

Same here, maybe explains why the 5 uploads a week limit is not being enforced at the moment.
