pentax k-s2 ghost image frustration
You must be using the composite image setting from your 'drive modes'. Set it back to 'single shot' mode and you'll see that the problem is solved. I did the same thing once, right after shooting a 30 minute time lapse directly into the sun. I thought I had fried my camera!

i am so sick of useless technological mysteries. one day my camera works, i put it away, then i take it out, the SD card is now not formatted... OK... format the card, lose all saved photos... I think a step at a time. The viewfinder image is a purely optical one, so it can't stop working as such, but if the AF isn't functioning properly then I'd suggest checking the AF/MF switch is clicked fully home and then wiping the electrical contacts on lens and camera body with a soft, dry cotton ...

There may be a price drop , although I would compare the GRii to the higher priced fuji x100?. Clearly the Ricoh is better value , also consider the crop modes on the GRii 35 and 47mm as well as macro mode and wide angle with the aditional kit.
