Thanks for that. I have looked at the adverts for the Vanguard (Premier Inks IIRC) in the mags also at an affordable price. I do think personal recommendations are worth a lot more than an advert in a mag

I wasn't underrating him Tony, Liz has a cd she plays regularly, it was just the disappointment of not getting to see the show we wanted. I doubt anyone could have replaced T.C. Because of the job I had at the time it was very difficult to plan ahead and we thought just this once things have gone right but alas and alack fate stepped in. Sometimes I'd think if I didn't have bad luck I wouldn't have any sort of luck

I like my Pentax gear and the Sigma and Tamron lenses I have acquired. Image quality is good at least my friends and family think so Of course I've got niggles like everyone else but not enough to wish I'd gone N or C as I'm sure they will have similar problems and dissatisfaction too, it's human nature to want something bigger better faster

We had tickets to see Tommy Cooper but he took ill and the show was cancelled
We did get offered our money back or see Matt Monroe so we opted for the money.

Does owning "Let's Get Together" by Hayley Mills constitute having a Criminal Record ?

Thank Goodness we don't need common sense now we have so many H & S regulations to guide us. I have "Blame Direct" hot keyed into my mobile phone

Was reading an article on Macro photography and the person said this was a good tripod for doing this type of thing, with the center column horizontal and head replaced with a focusing rail, camera pointing down.

Any opinions of this tripod, it doesn't seem overly expensive.

I haven't seen that programme CoDa. I guess we'll get it eventually.

I did watch the one on the Beeb - "The Worlds Most Dangerous Roads" or something like that.
That was pretty scary stuff at times. I hate to think what the insurance cost was on the "stars" who took part.
Only watched a couple of episodes. As usual you hear of accidents but miraculously the "stars" usually don't have one, wheres the fun in that

Scariest road I was on was at night, Dubai to Abu Dhabi, the shadows caused by on-coming traffic on the other carriageway looked like camel legs and you could never be sure it wasn't one

I would think, unless the card uses "cut" "move to" or something rather than "copy" the images would still be be on the card rather like using copy and paste with any sort of transfer.

Of course trying it out (and letting us know )would be the way to go.

I do remember many moons ago making a back up copy of microsofts works installation files onto floppy disks and as each file was copied to disk it deleted the original file on the hard drive and of course sods law disk 8 was duff but it had still deleted the original file. I don't think that idea gained in popularity
