Yoyo's
Do they still make YoYo's, those nice chocolate coated biscuits with a minty flavour, or are they under a different name now

So when you press it in against the spring it won't pop out at least 10 mm and therefore clear of the door like on my K100 ? If thats the case my big farmers hands don't have a chanceI think if I had a k7 /k5 I'd leave the card in it.... jeff....
I'm seriously considering the wi-fi cards

I think the clearance between the door and the sd card was made to measure by far eastern people with smaller hands and fingers than europeans. The slot/door problem for people with large hands/fingers is a design fault due to this IMHO

My Mum is in her 80s and totally confused by all the different bags and bins she has. "I don't bother," she told me, "I just put it all in the black bin and hope for the best."

I have some sympathy for older people who are quite staggered by it all.
I believe a lot of paper etc intended for recycling, which nobody wants at present, is placed in storage facilities at great expense, so it could well be that your Mum is saving the council money by sending hers to land fill

I don't need a bottle opener, nothing wrong screw tops (Wow I'm back in Aberdeen in the mid 60's ) and a case of canned beer was supplied with a free opener

Thanks John. I did think of cropping the the photo but the idea was to show the quantity. I'm only 10 mins from the dunes so will have to get back there. I have a "better, I think" photo in the gallery

Sand dunes at Cresswell, I don't think I've ever seen so many snails in one location. Just a sample on one blade of grass. Straight from the camera untweaked

I missed that one If you are carrying a knife of any description isn't there a risk you will be arrested, have the weapon confiscated etc

We get ink cartridges from ink.co.uk I've used their cheaper chipped ones on my A4 Pixma ip4500 for a long time with great success. They do slightly dearer Swiss ink ones (more ink though) including for your printer but I can't see the difference personally.

Yes A3 photo paper is dear. I think Adam used Photo Paper Direct for his last box of paper. Again I personally only have A4 but I find ink.co.uk good (often Agfa) but no A3 last time I looked. 7 Day Shops 270gm silk (boxed 50 sheets) is excellent for a tenner. They are revamping their web site this week so no idea what is listed for A3 if any.
Thanks for that info Bill. Our "season" at the camera club starts in September and I do like to enter, mainly for the judges comments
I have two Canon packs ready but once they are gone I'm trying the "look-a-likes". We have a member who does printing for a small fee but I'm not sure how much he "enchances" the image but I would think he may just print what he gets on the usb drive ? Anyway it won't take long to use up the inks I have so will let you know how I get on later in the year
