Me too - it is my permanent M42 camera and is perfect for most of my needs with the old lenses.

One day maybe I will discover the K5 - perhaps a crop of cheap ones on ebay with dodgy screens !!??

An avatar should be a representation of how you wish to be portrayed to others on the site - I use a shot of me sat on a Formula 3 racing car at Oulton Park aged 50,a shot taken on the banks of the Severn at Oatfield contre jour,a shot of me in full kitchen whites at work ,and a shot of me in a straw hat taken by my daughter in a store.
Depending on the site, I use whichever suits.

Good thinking Bat Kris - P30 of the Asahi Complete System of Photography booklet undated but showing ESII has soft case jumbo front , short soft case with no lens nose , and soft case king size top half to convert the standard case to accept earlier clip-on meters.

I`ve got a case for the ES but was not aware of a special one for the ES11 - it came in a standard Spotty case and I`ve trawled ebay etc for years trying to find a "dedicated" one without success.

Not quite sure what you meant ,but , hey - it`s all good fun and practice - I thought the rules said a picture that looked good from a distance so that was what I tried to achieve.

Interesting comp and well done Dr.O

Usually as a reminder that something is for sale - bit like "poke" on Facebook if someone hasn`t heard from you.

Just use the "British abroad" language course......................."Oi o you o duo beeros now" in a loud voice..........................or as heard in a Chinese restaurant........." Oi you - come `ere" ......to which the waiter replied "How you know my name ?"

I`ll go now..........................................

Lots of tapping on the window for nuts until the weather turned nasty - nipples all red and obviously well used - the youngsters may come and visit - we shall see........................
