Hi you lot ..................just popped in to say had my "helmet" fitted for next week`s radiotherapy and thet are doing a bone scan on Monday so they can zap a few more nasties in the body whilst they are at it.
Hopefully I can come out after a couple of weeks and pick up a camera and a wineglass again.

SONGS OF PRAISE - no don`t worry not that "other stuff" - I rang EASYJET out of courtesy so they could sell my seats for Sunday knowing the deal was No Refunds and the lovely lady said if I sent a doctor`s note explaing my cancellation I could have a full credit note for later in the year - Now that IS service and a great weight off my mind.

Nice people do exist after all - and I thought it was just on PUF

Results in this am - apparently the cancer has reched the jaw,base of skull and brain membrane so radiotherapy being arranged as I write.

Thanks to you all for your kind and supportive words - don`t panic if I go quiet as I am very tired at the moment and not up to a lot of PC stuff .....................

My man Geoff said what do you like ? - I said Classic FM - couldn`t hear a thing for the clunking and knocking - I think one was Holst Jupiter !!

Anything to get rid of this constant nerve pain in the lower jaw and lips and stop the morphine which makes me dopey and nauseous.

Don`t even enjoy a drinl at the moment - sorry HG - just not in the mood.

Had a "lovely" morning in an MRI scanner - professor thinks jaw pain is cancer related so may have to have some radiotherapy - that`s the end of my holiday to Jersey then !! Camera`s got cobwebs on it !!!!

Loved your "speak into the rose" - I have two poster sized shots at home very similar which are the biggest I have ever had produced and make me very proud to have taken.At your age I was totally immersed in my restaurant business and hadn`t time to take a snap let alone hone my photographic skills.Keep it up.................
