Only recently started after the sad demise of Stieg Larsson - my sister- in -law was raving about him so I bought a couple on Amazon - now got three more - so far The Snowman,The Redbreast,Nemesis,The Redeemer and Devil`s Star - absolutely gripping and I love Harry Hole as a flawed "hero" cop.

Highly recommended here

Well Cosford was a downer !! Arrived at 08-30 and it was filling up even then - piddling down and grey and low cloud - hardly any planes flew apart from some intrepid stunters and some choppers.A Hawk jet and the Tornado tried to cheer us up along with a short display by the Arrows. The day was further spoiled by over two hours trying to leave the parking area !! No Vulcan,Historic flight,Mustang, etc etc - very few photos and very cold and miserable - eh ho - maybe next year they will do it in the summer !!!!

Lovely beastie Gareth ........................................

I was thinking more about shutter speeds and apertures - I too old to worry about a bit of rain - just dull dull days and my experience at Southport 2009 was marred by grey grey grey and no great contrasts.

I`ll take my golf waterproofs and an `at

Pointless question but here goes - looks cloudy and wet for Sunday at Cosford Air Show - any tips ??

Tony

Nice one KM - well done you and all the runners up - bit of a blur at the end !

Thanks for the comments Doc - I love the birds but my wife hates `em - I suppose greed/hunger will always prompt bravery and I was sitting waiting for something to "blur".

Tony

He must have nicked it and driven it there then ??
