Really, you think so? Or are you being facetious because of the wink? Can't tell because this is your first post and I don't know you.....but I guess I would rather not fail to take you seriously. If you look at these two pics of the same item at full size for example, you can see the huge difference in noise and detail.

Having owned both a K10D and K-5 I can testify there is a HUGE difference in IQ.
The K10-D is not a shabby camera, but the K-5 is in a totally different league.

The K10d gets used by my daughter and the K5 by me. She's getting good enough to warrant the K5; I wouldn't be anywhere near as upset if something happened to the K10.
In good light, the K10 is a fine camera. In anything else, the K5 walks all over it.

Although having owned a GX10 for 3yrs and a K-5 for only a few months and shots, with the same lenses I fully with Brett's sentiments on both cameras - I am hanging on to the GX10 as a backup, but I would not willing swap back to it full-time.

K-3 II, K-3 and a K-70 from SRS (having now relegated the K-30 /"K-50" to a backup body), & some Sigma and Pentax lenses (and a lot of old 35mm gear!)

Ditto
K5 utterly walks over all the other Pentax dSLRs
(Even at low ISOs where the huge dynamic range is incredibly useful for me).
That said, all the dSLRs (including the *ist-D) can produce excellent images! I'm still using the original *ist-D

Me too - it is my permanent M42 camera and is perfect for most of my needs with the old lenses.
One day maybe I will discover the K5 - perhaps a crop of cheap ones on ebay with dodgy screens !!??
