Please send the laudanum by registered post to help me get over the photo - I need a drink now !! lol

Welcome Mark - glad to hear you`ve given up lurking !

Ooooo !
Difficult one Techno - I don`t know how heavy the 50-200 is - presumably about the same as my 70-300 FAJ and a lot lighter than my Sigma 28-300.
You say "a few landscape shots" but "lots of iconography" so I am inclined to opt for the 18-55 as I have had many good results from mine and the 3.5 aperture is reasonably wide open. There does not seem many opportunities from what you propose for the 200 end of the other.Ideally a teleconverter would solve the problem methinks but then ideally I would like a 12-24..............................dream on laddie !!

Tony

No - we are subject to a hosepipe ban up here because of the MILLIONS of litres of water United Utilities waste daily - amd we have to pay for their incompetence..................

It`s pretty obvious to me that you put a 48" Plasma telly on the bottom and showed reruns of Springwatch - they were just checking to see if they were on !!

Great shot though

Tony

I NEVER use predictive texting - I never say hello and I never say goodbye - it`s an electronic postcard or a telegram ( ask yer dad ) a simple way of communicating quickly and regularly - why the problem ?What next - predictive f*rting - it knows you want to but waits `til you`re outside of the courtroom ?
Predictive speech - could sound like Tyrett`s Syndrome.
Predictive Photos - click the button but it waits until it likes the shot ?
Sheesh....................take a chill pill guys and gals - life does not have to be about speed every day.

Tony or as my phone would say - T78975657

Well I`ve taken one especially for Stefan - maybe a bit quirky but no more off the wall than some of the originals I saw looking back - let`s see what happens !!

Tony

No you can`t Fats !!

Just finished a lovely Pinot Noir - Cable Station Road - Marlborough - 2009 N.Zealand - Oddbins - yummy for a warm day/evening.

Take note cedric !!

Six Shooter/Six gun - Single Action Colt Army .45 Peacemaker ( replica ) with chamber released and 5 shells showing - only a greenhorn would leave a sixth shell under the hammer ready to blow his/her toe off !!

Still heavy and overcast here - slighly breezy and rather clammy too - off to "sunny" E.Sussex on Sunday for the munchkin`s final court date before it is all legal and I am a proper granddad...................I`ve just sold the Sigma 70-300 APO Macro on Amazon which is nice !!

Quiet here innit ??
