I`m very happy with my Sigma 28-300 - the only snag is the weight compared with the almost featherlike Pentax 75-300.
Now I have the monopod though the Sigma is back in favour as a general purpose lens.

Do what I do Andy - dedicate it to M42 lenses as I have with my *istD - I then have instant access to about 12 lenses and the bellows and the tubes and teleconverters all with screw mounts and great quality.

I have just noticed that Mrs.Tozza`s K100 is registering 999 shots left on the card every time I switch on or after taking a shot !
Is this a fault ? Am I missing something ? Should I buy her a K7 ???

Tony

Wow - that was a close one then HG - I`m Pentaxmanwine on the site if ever you fancy a stand-off - lol

Just before I went down to Sussex I spotted the enclosed at a start bid of 99p and as a bit of fun popped in a bid of £10.
Lo and behold I won and this morning received a signed for delivery (£4.60) and the items for a winning bid of £6.70 - leather case,P50 in nice order ( film inside ! ) strap, cover,Vivitar Automatic 3x -22 teleconverter and a Prinzflex 135 2.8 Auto MC with Hoya 55mm Skylight filter.
Really nice kit and useful bits and bobs - I`ll test the lens/teleconverter presently.

I do love a bargain and I`ve just sold my Sigma 70-300 APO Macro on Amazon too.

My late uncle - bless him - spent a lot of time out in Peru as a young man Oggy - and he came back liking Marmalade with his bacon !!!!!!!!!

He said is was no worse than apple sauce with pork ???

Not in my lifetime !!

Try the mustard ( made up from powder obviously - not this American rubbish you get on the Motorway et al )- it really gives a zing.

Aaaaah the joys of being 273 miles away !!!

Uckfield is too far to hear the howls very often and she is just starting the "terrible twos" - as for spoiling - well er harrumph - no problem there then !!

Nana is getting all broody again ( not !! )- two days and we are both kerknackered - footy on Brighton beach, petting farm, garden games, walkies with the dogs, early rising, slides, bathtime, constant supervision and many many queries as to "WHY"

Love her to bits

Tony

Oh come on !!!!! Lose the mushrooms perlease ! Why ruin a great bacon, egg, blackpudding and mustard butty ? From what source do you source your sauce Techno ? - lol

Back from the "sunny" South - we were roasting on Brighton Beach on Tuesday whilst all back here on Wirral were being washed out - at least my grass looks alive again !

Regards grand pa ( officially now )

Tony
