I`m heading for my sister`s in Jersey for a fortnight - that should help ignore the hype and silliness - especially the stuff about how ALL this spending is for the good of the country as a (W)hole.Seems to me like the biggest adfest in the world for selected companies !

Sport ?? Yeah !! Either have it in one place all the time ( Much Wenlock no )or cap the spending for all.

Lovely here TT - sorry - slight breeze and a few clouds otherwise lots of yellow - at least the garden looks lush.
14 degrees on the thermomomometer which is nice - just a few surveys to catch up on then out for a troll in the garden ( if I can find one )no sign of the new tit family I`m afraid - must have found a better house !!

I`ve been here since 1986 Kevin - before that we were here for 3 years with our Michelin restaurant Raffles (by Christ the King church).My daughter Emma went to Plessington and Christ the King secondary and Jo was head housekeeper and I exec head chef at the Cromwell Hotel ( nee Royal Oak ) now Royal Oak again.
