"I'm also puzzled as to why I am seeing some magenta and cyan fringes to the clouds. Despite those strange issues (and I'm curious to know if thoese were for real) I feel what the picture really lacks is a point of interest."

Oh !.................well they certainly were for real as that is why I took the photo in the first place - it is some form of refraction or halo effect.
Sorry you didn`t find it interesting but accept your critique - not sure what Exif was unobtainable.............Anyway - well done milamber and well done the runners up - not the greatest entry numbers but as always it`s fun to be in it and great to see the "competition"

I`m with Stan really - most of my gear is second hand and SRS stuff way out of my league ( much as I`d like to deal with them )- space is not relevant and the comps are my bit of fun and challenge me to get off my botty !

Pointless is great fun and classified keep me on my toes too

Maybe it`s the warmth not the brightness ?? We get lots of toasted ones in our wall lamp shade !

There`s a bloke outside with a tin of Fussell`s on his arm but he`s wearing a clown mask and red tights - should I ask him if he`s a PUF ?
