Buy an AA adapter. AA rechargeables last 8.9% longer than the D-LI109.

I know what you mean. I bought the AA adapter, on E-Bay very cheap. Now I have two different battery packs and chargers. Just as good to get a spare battery.
However, if I am anywhere where I have no charger the AA may come in handy.

Read through this thread. Chris, when are you going to set up a SRS branch in New Zealand. I would purchase from such a retailer, even if it cost me a little extra. I belive in fair payment for a fair service or product.

John, I have a great deal of respect for you, and you look like a decent chap. You seem to be assuring any Pentax K5 purchaser that they should not be concerned. I am lucky that I am not caught up in this, but I would be interested to know if anybody who has bought a K5 after this date, being 25 August 2011, and have Sensor problems.
This would really show whether the problem has well and truly been solved.

How about one of those mini computer vacum cleaners, without touching the sensor of course.
Will only touch the sensor as a last resort.
