I was once walking along a beach close to my home (Jackson's Bay) with the wife and my daughter. We came across two young lads no more than 6-7 years old who had painstakingly dug a hole so deep only their heads were visible above ground. I asked them if they had found Australia yet then moved to a position where I could take a photo of their hard work with just their heads poking above the ground, when a voice shouted (quite forcibly) "Do you mind not photographing my children". I couldn't reply because I was so shocked and just apologised and walked off. Had I been allowed to take the picture I would have emailed a copy to the parents. But as I say I just didn't know what to say or how to react. It is a shame that genuine people are tarred with the wrong brush before being given a chance to prove they are "safe".

I signed up for this a while back and wondered if any members might find it useful link
I receive a couple of emails a week requesting photos of various topics and locations around the world. Yesterdays request is for a Soap bubble, I have had requests for photos of the Upper Wye valley, photos of Newgale at sunset etc.
This week requests include:
Arial photo of Monte Carlo
Automotive Classics: Concours d'Elegance
Book cover photo needed/Futurist Cook book
Mosaic Portrait
Howler Monkeys
Hippos
Jaguar D-Type

I believe they are genuine and wondered if anyone on the forum could benefit from signing up. As we have many members scattered all over the globe then I think we should be able to help out with most categories.

I've posted the same statement in another subject asking almost the same question, so I'll just copy and paste it here.

If you want to know how good the 55-300 is take a look at Yve's portfolio
The 55-300, for its money, is a brilliant lens and will be a great lens for you to find your feet. It is very sharp, just look at the definition in the fur, and those whiskers...amazing.
Here is an example (I hope you don't mind Yve)

First thing, go to Symantec or McAfee's website and do a search for the virus. That should give you all the details you require and the threat level of the virus.

Got the last piece in the jigsaw of the macro kit... the soft box.
Here's a couple of shots with the tubes. Both with a Pentax AF400FTZ lighting them up inc. said soft box. No cropping.

1st with the Pentax A 50mm f1.7 mounted normal at f22 with the camera controlling the aperture.

2nd with the Pentax A 50mm f1.7 mounted in reverse at f22 on the aperture ring.

Here is the same shot heavily cropped but no other PP. The same settings for both. If I'm doing something wrong then please advise.

1st. DA*16-50, 2nd. SMC A 50mm f1.7 (Don't have a 1.4 but thought I'd give you a sample of the 1.7 I've got)
