Technically you are probably right Alan, but sometimes its about the picture not necessarily the quality of the picture. I certainly won't be entering any of these into any competitions but I think they are nice to look at, which is after all what a picture is for.

Yes it was a little overcast so just popped it with the flash, same as the Pea flowers in number 3.

I have the K-7 and I'm advising you to go for the K-r. If you don't need it to be water resistant then the K-r opens up a whole new avenue in low light photography because of its high ISO capabilities. The K-7 is a fine camera but has very high noise anywhere above 400 ISO.
The K-r will also let you get the most out of any lens that is not so fast because you can ramp up the ISO and then have much higher shutter speeds, ideal for wildlife shots.

Went for a local walk with the Mrs and put on the DA 55-300. If it took my fancy I shot it. For a relatively inexpensive lens this is very good and if anyone is contemplating getting one ...do it! Here are a few for your C&C.
