Those fiery red horses certainly work for me!

And I have a preference for the first (with, perhaps, a bit of cropping out of the bottom part?) for its slightly mysterious air, the abstractness of the out of focus branches in the background, and the subtle colour palette.

Fine landscapes as usual, Bill, in a rather eclectic set here. I particularly appreciate the colours and textures of 1, ice-like, almost polar-feeling (there's an echo of this in 11). The spreading out of the water in a circular pattern catches the eye in 2, with the somewhat incongruous white stag looking on. 3 seems to play on asymmetry, with the sinewing path to the castle contradicting the vanishing point between the rocks to the left. 8 is dark and stark, a brooding invitation. And many imaginings appear in the abstractness of 16. My favourites, however: 9, 12-15, 17 and 18, all very subtle in composition, texture and colour, closer to the more 'meditative' side of your photography which I really admire (along with your adventurous ICM images - which are often quite trance-inducing themselves).

Definitely an 'I'd like to take a walk around there too' thought-inducing set. Perhaps I'd have a preference for 7 (nice slice of life) and 10 (composition and colours).

I concur, and there's an interesting streak of light in the clouds on the right that balances out the tree on the left.
And it took me a good half-minute to find it.
