How very well put, Bill!

Thanks again, Gareth. And thank you for the metaphors, Bill - There is indeed always more to be seen than that which we view. And I'm definitely on board with Minor White, ever since you brought his work to my attention a little while back.

Quite evocative, Gareth, beautiful tones going on there, too. I like that there's nothing immediately spectacular to the image - yet there's a definite rumble to be felt underneath.

Brilliantly thought, seen, captured and processed. The starkness of the b+w and the painterly qualities of Fairfield church stand out in particular.

I very much like 2 & 3, Lenny - they both, in different ways, invite us into parallel worlds (and the processing in 2 is top notch).

The first two are very nice, especially the subdued colours and beauty of the second.

Now that is a quick response! I think I have a slight preference for the second set, but they are definitely all worthy, and work out quite differently between each of their two versions.

Thanks for the link, Gwyn. They grow like mad in my garden and I've been taking them for granted ever since we bought our place. Just tasted a flower - delicious! I will be gathering and drying leaves for herbal tea tomorrow morning!

Thanks, Peter, Lenny.

It does indeed, in a way. I guess the coulours were too far off for me to make the connection...

I must confess, some versions of 'not obvious' are becoming rather obvious to me - so the search is never-ending
