Several times I've been at that point

does 'rare' equate to worth a lot?
Definitely worth getting an M42 adapter to have a play, anyway.

AF Zooms:
Tamron 17-50 - Lives on my camera; the best all-rounder for my needs. The Pentax 16-50 would be nice, but is more expensive and the IQ arguably similar.
Sigma 24-70 - Outdoor portrait zoom; good for capturing my fast moving kids. An FA*28-70/2.8 could work here, but I like the extra 4mm on the wide end.
Sigma 50-150 - Candid portrait zoom; good for weddings and outdoor events/parties. I'd like a Pentax 50-135, but got a good deal on the Sigma!
Pentax 18-250 - Travel zoom. It still surprises me how good the 18-250 is.
Sigma 70-200 EX f/2.8 - Sports/gig zoom. Would happily have the FA*80-200, but it's rare and expensive.
Pentax 10-17 - I wasn't sure about a getting fish eye, but have really enjoyed using it and find the fish-eye rendering more pleasing than ultrawide rectilinear distortion under a surprising number of conditions.
Samsung 12-24 - Ultrawide - useful for interior shots and some architecture, although I haven't really mastered it yet.
Pentax 18-55 WR - Gives me a WR lens, should I ever need it (I've got a waterproof compact for going out in the rain/mud).
AF primes:
DA15 ltd - Gives me a useful ultrawide option when travelling light.
Sigma 30/1.4 - Really nice as a portrait lens; very sharp in the middle with bokeh that I like.
FA31 ltd - Beautiful colours and rendering.
DA35 ltd - Travel landscape + macro capability.
FA43 ltd - Longer portrait lens. Again has beautiful rendering.
FA77 ltd - Portrait use. Some CA on APS-C, but not much and, again has beautiful colours and rendering.
FA*85 - Ultra narrow DOF. Low light use (can shoot things significantly better than I can see them in low light on a K-5!)
Sigma 105 macro - More than adequate for my macro needs. (I would like a Pentax 100WR version, but wouldn't use it enough to justify the cost)
MF primes:
Vivitar (Kiron) 24mm f/2 - A bit of a sleeper; beat everything short of an FA*24 f/2 in a test I did recently. Sharp with nice bokeh.
SMC Pentax 28mm f/2 - Legendary IQ, really nice colours and rendering.
Super Takumar 50mm f/1.4 (early 8 element version) - very different to more modern lenses with lower contrast but makes a good portrait lens
SMC Pentax 50mm f/1.2 - Very fast, unique rendering at f/1.2 and excellent bokeh
Carl Zeiss Jena Pancolar 50/1.8 - Very different rendering to Pentax lenses, but still sharp and contrasty.
SMC Pentax 55mm f/2 - Another excellent portrait lens; I prefer it to the more modern f/1.7 and f/1.4 SMC-M and A lenses for portraits.
Carl Zeiss Jena Pancolar 80/1.8 - Really good; has the Zeiss look, again very different to the Pentax 85s.
SMC Pentax 85mm f/1.8 - One of my favourite lenses. Sharp, contrasty with excellent colours and bokeh that I raelly like.
SMC Pentax-M 105mm f/2.8 - Travel portrait tele. Great IQ, small and light for the speed and focal length.
SMC Pentax 135mm f/2.5 - Described by someone on here (I forget who, I'm afraid) as a lens that can make a picture out of nothing, which sums it up nicely.

For sale is my Sigma 50mm f/2.8 EX macro lens. I've had it for a year or so, but haven't used it much as I also have its 105mm sibling.
It's in very good condition, as shown in the pictures. The optics are in good shape, with no scratches, marks or fungus (but one or two specks of internal dust - normal for a lens of the age and nothing that would affect the pictures).
It is supplied with the original hood and front/rear caps. Although I don't normally use them, I'd be happy to include a UV filter as well if you'd like one.
Looking at the going rate on eBay, I think that £150 delivered within the UK is reasonable and I'd be happy to investigate postage options to send it further afield if required. Payment by bank transfer or PayPal (with the buyer covering the fees) please.
