Hi all,
I have a Sigma 17-70mm which has noticeable piece of dust/debris behind the front element, I've tried a vaccum cleaner at the ring end and zoomed it in and out a bit to no avail.

Is there any way to remove the front element or get at the inside of it,I dont think it affects picture quality but would prefer to remove it before selling the lens.

Hi all,
Has any one used or are using a teleconverter with their DSLR? and what are your opinions of them.

I was thinking of getting a KR for faster low light work and maybe an expensive lens or two, though the K10 would always be a backup / foul weather camera, its like that MX I've got, just couldnt bear to part with it....

Whilst considering wether to upgrade to a K7 or KR I began by comparing the K10 to its newer stablemates and was both suprised and mystified to find the K10 has the upper hand over the K7 in Image Quality, Dynamic Range and Colour Depth.

I did have a play with a K-R in Jessops not long ago and its a lot lighter and more compact than the K10 and it probably out classes it on every point bar weather resistance.

Maybe its a case of getting used to the one wheel system.

As the owner of a K-10 with snapped off SR switch, I too am looking to upgrade to the K-R or K-7, high ISO isnt a priority nor really is weather resistance though both would be nice, what I want to know is which of these cameras can produce the best image? ( regardless of focussing speed/processing speed etc.) Which probably means which has the best sensor?, the prices have dropped for both recently.

Don't buy anything from jessops! Their 'after sales sevice' is non-existent.
Yes, especially if there are sensor 'stains' and all the exchange rigmarole, or has that been solved now?

I too played with a K5 (and a KR) in Jessops and am looking to upgrade after 4 years with a K10 which is now missing its SR switch, the K5 felt agreeable, the KR small, the deal maker seems to be the fact that the K5 does everything the KR and the K7 can do, though I'm not sure I'd buy one from Jessops.
