Come on guys lets not turn this into an inquisition.

Sledge made (perhaps naively) an offer which i am sure he now regrets, and on reflection realises that trading in pirated software is something although done on a regular basis throughout the world is generally not discussed in forums such as these.

Give the guy the benefit of the doubt and drop it.
This has got to be the most sensible posting on this thread Well said Clarky
And all the others that jumped on the band wagon, shame on you
I wasn't involved in the exchange, but I did feel bullied
It doesn't take ALL the kids in the playground to point out mistakes, one could have done it, PM's anyone?
This slightly resembles the grammar Gestapo debauchery recently, very uncivil and not relevant to photography.
We all know the consequences of illegal software. A more tactful response would have done the trick.
My 2pence worth, for what it's worth

Faststone will also take care of PEF files, and convert them. I find it better than Picasa.
Yes it'll work, but . . .

. . . TTL will not work as it's not supported by your camera. Only the *istD and *istDS bodies support TTL.

When switched to TTL, the flash will fully discharge. Alternatively you can use the H or L manual settings.
Thanks for your reply Mannesty. I have read my manual (RTFM ) and it seems I need a P-TTL flash, to work as intended on my K100 Super. Can anyone recommend a (cheap) starter flash, as there are occasions that warrant a better unit than the built in flash, plus it is another medium to experiment with!
Jim, thank you for your very kind offer (not many of us about ), but I will decline and leave it to someone who will use it as intended

Would this work on my K100 Super? If it would/does, I would be very grateful of your generous offer I just have the built in flash at the moment, which is a bit lacking, and is prone to showing shadows of the lens
