That might be a car modification unique to Australia, I think. The fox tail on the Holden HG antenna always improved the reception in country areas, but the city folk gave it a strange look.

Thanks for the comparison! It's clear to me I need either a DA 300 or a Tamron tc. I'm guessing the DA won't fit the budget though.

Tokina now does a 16.5-135. Is that the same lens as the Pentax, with just a little bit longer zoom movement inside? Pity it's not in Pentax mount.

Father Ted and Cliff, thanks for the help. I tried both methods, but got stuck on the 'check Monochrome' bit in Ted's tips. (There was no option to select Monochrome). Cliff's method worked a treat (see gallery).

I know the Corel Paint Shop Pro X2 program is supposed to be user friendly, but can anyone tell me how to use layers?
I want to convert a red flower to black and white, then colour a single petal the original red colour. Any help, much appreciated.

Can't choose between the bug shots. They're all good. Was that a Macro lens or a crazy reversed-with-tubes setup that I favour. (ie. cheap).
