No 1 stands out for me and maybe no. 8

I'm no sure the tree shots with blue sky work, 8 is best (IMO) because it fills the frame. Others may disagree of course.

My work Internet connection goes through the Netherlands and it took awhile for the DNS change to reach there. Worked ok on UK ISP's. It can take a day or two for these things to reach everywhere.

The sensor size is smaller than a DSLR on some point & shoots even though they may have a higher number of pixels. My Panasonic DMC-TZ20 is 14.1Mp and it shoots decent pictures but even my old 6Mp K100dS outperforms it in picture quality overall. You will need a top of the range P&S to compete with a DSLR.

The TZ20 video can be pretty good but then HD only uses 3Mp.

A complete set of original inks costs nearly as much as my printer new. It's a racket!

If someone made a good printer and sold inks at a realistic price they'd probably clean up.

I use a Canon PIXMA iP7250. Prints excellent A4 prints and text, it can use wireless too.

Original inks are expensive but thats the same for every inkjet these days. Manufacturers sell the printers for peanuts and make their money through cartridge purchases.
