Hi Everyone,

We just wanted to bring to everyone's attention that we have now changed our web address to www.pentaxuser.com instead of .co.uk . The .co.uk address will still work.

You may need to re-login. You can do this by clicking 'Login' in the top right hand side of the page.

You can read more about this change on the following link:

Aha! That explains why Firefox wanted my password re-entered.

During my lunch break today, the dot com site could not be found (possibly it has not rippled through all DNS servers yet).

At home it works (as you can see )
Pentax K10D + Vivitar 55/2.8 macro + Super Takumar 55/1.8 + SuperMultiCoated Takumar 85/1.8 + SuperMultiCoated Takumar 135/3.5 + SuperMultiCoated Takumar 200/4 + Super Takumar 300/4
Pentax K100D + DA18-55ALII + DA55-300
Pentax K5 + FA31Ltd + M50/1.7 + DFA100WR + M120/2.8 (+ DA18-55WR at occasion)

I haven't been able to access the site with a standard browser via my ISP for over a day now - can't locate the pentaxuser.com server. Furthermore, if I Google pentaxuser.com I get offered an Adult Date Link!

Hopefully it will get fixed soon. At least I can access the site with the Tor browser, which is how I'm posting this.

I've had no difficulty with either the .com or the .co.uk addresses, the latter forwarding automatically. However, there was a hiccup at some point that took the site offline totally.
Best regards, John

Yes, it 'foxed' Firefox login memory on my PC too. I only just noticed the post as I bookmark the recent activity listing. Strange to change to the mostly American .com. New owners?

My work Internet connection goes through the Netherlands and it took awhile for the DNS change to reach there. Worked ok on UK ISP's. It can take a day or two for these things to reach everywhere.

I'm having horrendous problems staying logged in

I'm having to log in each time I visit - and my password is always being rejected

Have you changed your bookmark TT? So that you are not constantly being redirected from .co.uk to .com?

Still can't open the site at work, parked domains not allowed
Cheers

Hi Gwyn - yes I had .

However by doing some digging round in the depths of things and deleting some stuff I've managed to stay logged in this afternoon/evening , so perhaps whatever was misbehaving has now settled down

It sounds like your work's DNS needs to update their details. The domain is no longer a parked domain.
