I'm not sure if Heathrow do it, but I've been to airports where you can purchase items & then collect them on your return. You'll just need to find the cheapest fare to a non-EU country & take a day trip Then when you get back, drive round & hand over your reciept & fill your boot with lenses.

Congratulations to Mikew for pipping me at the post & making sure I didn't have to judge I'm landed with a podium finish, I think I'll have to try a bit more of this multiple flash malarkey. Thanks for the concise judging Daniel, 3 flashes it was, & I spared you more of the thighs as this was the most "modest" of my poses !

Thanks for the comments guys. It's the judges decision that counts though !
I'll quite often have a decent idea but the execution often lets me down so I'm pleased to be told that it's executed well, especially as this was my first attempt at using multiple flashes manually & exposing manually. I feel the lighting is a little harsh which I have reduced the effect of somewhat in PP.
Oh & for anyone wondering about the cowboy hat... It has been sat on my wardrobe since buying it on a Floridian holiday but I needed something to reduce the glare from my shiny balding head as it was sunburnt from some roof-down motoring, I actually thinks it adds another dimension to an already oddball capture.

I'm hoping Pentax will offer a straight replacement. That would be my preferred choice. The dealer, however, indicated that it's unlikely. He talked about refunds, credit notes, etc. Bottom line, he felt that I'd end up having to pay the new, higher, price. It sounds as if this got in there during manufacture. I'd be surprised if it got in after manufacture as it's a 'dust proof' lens. Have it cleaned under warranty or replaced by Pentax.
