So that bag of food, loaf of bread and tin of something were donations or had he just sat down for a rest? His appearance doesn’t suggest he is homeless just a bit fed up.

The decorations are back in the loft and the musical Santa is in his box for another year. I swear there are more every year!

Or as Donald Rumsfeld said: "...as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns—the ones we don't know we don't know."

Don't we all feel like this sometimes?

I cannot answer your question but I have been using Cactus transceivers which work fine with my K1 and Pentax flashes. The advantage of the Cactus is the same unit is compatible with the main camera and flash manufacturers (except Sony), so if you switch to say a Nikon then it still works. On the other hand I guess the Elinchrom would be great for triggering their range of lights without needing a receiver on each, a significant advantage for a studio setup.

As for your question unless someone here can help you could contact a specialist like The Flash Centre or even Elinchrom directly.

I have recently been doing a series using pixel shift to capture as much detail and texture as possible but was disappointed with the lack of sharpness I was getting using Lightroom - no matter what adjustments I applied it just wasn't there. This is weird because it hasn't been a problem before so I just did basic settings in Lightroom, set the sharpness to zero, and then tried the oddly named Unsharp Mask in Photoshop and bingo! It works a treat. Here are some examples:

The same thing happened when Shutterstock reduced their commission rates, thousands of photographers tried to delete their accounts but the photos were still on the site. I guess their servers cannot respond very quickly when there is a surge in demand.

Thanks Gwyn, I also have an unused electric paella maker which I must try sometime!

The Oxford vaccine is supposed to be used anywhere in the world and as one medic said, we won’t defeat the virus until everyone is inoculated.

I can’t tether my K1 to my smartphone for some reason but it will work with a mini iPad, the most useful aspect of which is selecting a focus point by just touching anywhere on the screen; if the new camera does that with the rear screen it will be a bonus, especially if the touchscreen is automatically deactivated when using the eyepiece (otherwise your nose selects focus points instead!). The rear screen looks quite large, I wonder whether they decided that a flip screen compromised that plus body depth and weight too much.
