Elinchrom Transmitter Pro for Pentax

I cannot answer your question but I have been using Cactus transceivers which work fine with my K1 and Pentax flashes. The advantage of the Cactus is the same unit is compatible with the main camera and flash manufacturers (except Sony), so if you switch to say a Nikon then it still works. On the other hand I guess the Elinchrom would be great for triggering their range of lights without needing a receiver on each, a significant advantage for a studio setup.
As for your question unless someone here can help you could contact a specialist like The Flash Centre or even Elinchrom directly.

I've got either a 1st or 2nd gen Elinchrome transmitter and they work on both the K1 and 645 so I see no reason why they wouldn't work on a K3 particularly as they work on your K5

I was taking a look at studio flash systems recently and found that elinchrom series now has a pentax transmitter. I did a forum search but didn't find any other posts on the topic.
Info and compatibility here...
