Yes, a K-1. Also has composition adjustment which is manual moving of the sensor vertically, horizontally, or rotate but this must be done in live view. I only knew about this feature in a review somewhere which said it could obviate the need for a tilt/shift lens but I'm not sure about that. Great for fine tuning where it matters though but not seen this feature mentioned anywhere else. But I digress....

Thanks Nigel, I got used to live view on the K50 as it doesn't have mirror lock-up but I'll give it a try.

I have a question, Nigel - you have some lovely sharp images using mirror lock-up which I have never tried, usually using live view instead. Doesn't live view lock the mirror up as well and if so what is the advantage of going 'blind'?

Inspecting my credit cards at the moment there is no way I can take advantage of the offer on the 150-450 at the moment, I've maxed them basically - let's hope similar deals are available during Black Friday...these are spectacular deals.
I bought this lens for the same price on the last special weekend so it's always worth waiting for.

Ah man, was in there today, could of looked to see if they had any. I was too busy enjoying shopping with my wife for dresses ...... such fun
Me too, but for a new telly; I thought it wouldn't be too bad price wise except the one she fancied won't fit on our cabinet so it's a new stand, plus the sound isn't great so a soundbar is needed......you get the picture. Nearly the price of a 70-200 lens in the SRS sale! B****r.

Would putting the camera and lenses in airtight bags like freezer bags with silica gel granules solve the condensation issue?

I went down to Polzeath after the storm hoping for some surfers, but the red flags were out so I made do with the waves. When I looked later the photos were all very dull so they have been heavily processed and cropped to bring out the drama. All on K-1 with a D-FA 150-450mm lens hand held.

What you pay for are robustness and longevity, plus what you would expect on an expensive camera lens - sharpness at the edges, quick and positive focusing, and good performance in poor light. I had a mid-range Minox which is beautifully engineered but I found myself 'hunting' all the time to try to get enough sharpness, also the colour fringing really irritated after a while. I traded them after six months for Leica Trinovid which I know are more expensive but do everything I have described. The acid test I have found is a Little Egret; for some reason the fine white feathers will test any glass for colour fringing! If you are near to Slimbridge then try Clifton Cameras at Dursley.
