Good Afternoon all,

Mine arrived on Friday after the long wait

Here's an image shot at 250mm @ F4, ISO 100 and 1/180 with Daylight white setting on the K20D and no changes to EV. This image is straight out of the camera and converted to JPEG from DNG and it looks ok to me.

I've been having a look at my Dad's SMC-A 70-210mm and noticed that the rubber focusing ring appears to be faulty. When you turn the lens to focus there is extra movement and it sounds as if something is "grinding" under the rubber grip.

Are there any companies out there that repair manual focus Pentax lenses?

Regards

I've just purchased the full edition of Silypix as I'm that impressed with it and I also bought a "film taste" pack. When I downloaded this I saved the download in the Downloads folder on my PC and it saved them as compressed zip files.

Can anyone tell me how I transfer these over to Silkypix to use with the images?

Apologies for this but I'm not that clued up on downloading files such as these at all

My first 'real' ones are in transit to me - should be here by Tuesday...

I recently installed the full trial version of Silkypix and last night I attempted to convert a RAW image into JPEG and the menu gave 3 options.

I've already got the ebook for Silkypix but can someone explain in more simple terms the differences between the three JPEG options and which is the better one to save JPEG's onto

I save my JPEG images onto an external hard drive as a matter of course but sometimes I also save them on a CD/DVD for friends and family, etc.

Also I couldn't find how to delete the images in Silkypix when they are displayed, I have to go back to the pictures folder on my PC. Am I missing something here?

Whilst I was out earlier on this evening with my K20 and the battery grip I took some photos and after a shot was taken "Battery Depleted" came up on the screen. I was suprised at this as I had charged the batteries two days ago and haven't used them. When I looked at the info setting both batteries were shown to be full.

Anyone else had similar problems?

Thanks to you all for your comments. Do I need to purchase a special kit then to replace the screen? I've seen that SRS sell the screen but with no tools or anything like that.

The rocket blower will be blasting off towards the bin very soon
