Well, it took it's time getting here, and couldn't resist getting one as it was only 20 miles away!

Haven't had much time to play properly yet, but I'm all set up, so if you have any questions, fire away, you've got me for a couple of hours!!

How sharp compared to the pre-production ones?
And to the 50-135?

I have two questions: What time are you going to bed and how secure is your house?

Stated length will be at the 60mm end of the zoom so yes it will be longer than the 300mm when zoomed to 250mm.

Cann't wait to play with mine its waiting for me at the post office
Good luck

I agree, I have wanted a kitchen worktop like that for ages but the wife just won't let me have one.

Yes, and I think the tiles on the splashback are rather smart too.

Well - what did you think I meant?

Unlocker - could you move the lenses so we can see more of them.

Well, the focal length just seems weird, just mucking about on a close up shot (about 4 foot away) and the 50-135 zooms in closer than the 60-250! I guess it's not meant for close up work, will find out better tomorrow hopefully when the sun is back out!

Quality wise, initial impressions are very good, here's a 'rough & dirty' quick '100% crop'
