Nice collection!................your new toy does seem to extend a long way!......lol..........looks longer than the 300!....Be nice to see how it performs
Just checked and it's 17mm shorter......just looks longer!

Stated length will be at the 60mm end of the zoom so yes it will be longer than the 300mm when zoomed to 250mm.
Cann't wait to play with mine its waiting for me at the post office

Well, the focal length just seems weird, just mucking about on a close up shot (about 4 foot away) and the 50-135 zooms in closer than the 60-250! I guess it's not meant for close up work, will find out better tomorrow hopefully when the sun is back out!
Quality wise, initial impressions are very good, here's a 'rough & dirty' quick '100% crop'
