A second-hand replacement off ebay would be cheaper than a professional repair.
But first check if there's anything you can do yourself. Peeling back the rubber grip will reveal grub screws that make a metal ring apply pressure to eliminate play in the focus/zoom ring. Try tightening these screws.

Try Medium Strength (blue) Loctite Threadlocker on the screws if they keep coming loose.

I'll second that!.....I have one in pristine condition and it is wonderful on the K20......................Ken
