Great image James. I agree that the K20D is a big improvement over the K10D

The Lysander images here were taken with the Sigma 100-300mm and the rest were taken with the DA*300.

Thank you all for your kind comments, it took me a while during the day to get used to the screw-driven Sigma as opposed to the SDM of the 300mm. I think the quality of the Sigma is best shown in number 2

Thanks for the advice Oggy. I recently set up a flickr account and posted the images as the large format on Flickr which I now see is too big. However the medium setting on Flickr shows the images on here in a smaller format but the lines are straight though

These were taken using my DA*300mm and a recently aquired used Sigma EX 100-300mm...

Thanks Kris. The 50-135mm is on loan to me at the moment! What I wanted to show in the last one was a view of the tower and a static aircraft to show some atomosphere of Old Warden and how relaxed it is.

Here is a very small selection of images from the Autumn Air Show at Shuttleworth last Sunday. I used my replacement K-7 and DA*16-50mm and a DA*50-135mm courtesy of Amin...it was good to meet up with you and glad that you enjoyed the introduction to aviation photography .
