I went along to the Spring Air Display held at the Shuttleworth Collection in Old Warden on Sunday and it was the first test for me of the K-5's AF system with a DA*300mm. This was the fastest aircraft in the display and the K-5 performed very well

Copying/moving does take time. There is no such thing as immediate file transfer. Copying between harddisks is somewhat faster than from cards or memory sticks.
It seems to be taking a lot longer than before though. When I said instantly that was perhaps the wrong word to use. I'm using a K-5 with DNG RAW images, perhaps the file sizes are having an effect?

I'm currently using FastStone Image Viewer 4.5 on my PC using Vista but have recently experienced a problem. When I either copy or move images to another card or my external hard drive for example I get the small egg-timer symbol and nothing happens. Then when I click on another tab, say Internet Explorer, I then get another window saying how many images are being copied/moved and time remaining. Up until recently as soon as I hit the copy/move icon this happened pretty much instantly. I use Lexar/Sandisk Class 10 SDHC cards and a Lexar card reader.

I've de-fragmented my PC and cleared out some programs and files to make it run quicker but this doesn't seem to have helped.

Any suggestions please?

Judging by that lens line-up, you've also got bags of money !?

So the few 'extra pennies' won't be felt ! some of us are less lucky, so the K7 may be a better buy
I might be missing something here and don't want to detract from what this topic is about, but where did I mention the lenses in this??

I was just adding what my thoughts are between the two and I think the K-5 is better in IQ than the K-7.

I've got a K-5 and a K-7 as back-up and having used the K-5 since January I will probably in the near future sell the K-7 as in my opinion there is a big difference in IQ, I've found there is much more detail with the K-5 and images with high ISO's are much improved.

I am very pleased with the results from the K-5 so far and is worth the extra pennies

For Sale are the above two items. The filter is being sold as I no longer have a lens to use it on and the card is being sold to reduce the collection.

Firstly the Hoya HD UV filter:

Filter

This is in an excellent used condition and includes original box and filter case. No visible marks that I can see and no marks either to the outer filter ring. £25 incl postage.

Kingston 8GB SDHC Class 10:

SDHC Card

Again this is in an excellent used condition but no case included with this one but it will be packed securely to avoid being damaged in transit. £5 incl postage.

Enquiries via a PM please and I'll give further details re payment.
