Item Description
Clearing out some kit that I am not using regulary enough. So for £150 you will receive the following:

Asahi Pentax Sportmatic SP
with leather cover. Minor scrubbing marks, no dents and also has optional flash holder. Meter needle working.

Super Takumar 85 f1.9, Great fast 85. This one has seen some action, plently of brassing and 2 minor scratches on the front element that do not show in images.
The stuff that matters is as it should be:

* Spotless aperture
* No signs of fungus
* All mechanics work perfectly (focusing, aperture, M/A switch)
* Sharp, contrasty and with great bokeh.

It also comes with a Kenko filter and soft pouch.

Super Takumar 35 f3.5, both caps and hard case. Aperture and Optics are spot on and mechanics work perfectly (focusing, aperture, M/A switch). A little non consequential dust due to age, a bit of paint loss on body or rings.

Super Takumar 28 f3.5, both caps. Aperture and Optics are spot on and mechanics work perfectly (focusing, aperture, M/A switch). A little non consequential dust due to age. Hardly any paint loss on body or rings.

I am not willing to split bundle.

Twin dials and the ISO do it for me. My 77 is itching to go out and do some available light pub portraits
Live view and something like a DA15, using the arrow buttons to pick the focusing spot, natural face shots! bit sneaky but hey...

No 6 for me. What a marvellous setup. The girl on your left finishes it off perfectly with her pose intentional or not

The rose was probably f2 or f2.8, the lower one (I don't know the flower) was f1.8

Thanks and Regards,
Robbie

Thanks for the kind comments Chris. Ordinarily I would have moved in the right hand side but I kinda like the K55 bokeh with regards to the branches. Some have also said that I should have perhaps lightened the image with PP but again this is how the K55 renders and why it fights a great battle with the LTDs for time on the K20
I actually went back on Sunday to see if I could do a better job but the poor thing had blown away.

If you can find a K55 f1.8 for under £50, buy it without hesitation. Rock solid build, lovely tactile feel to the focus ring, and dark lustrous colours with buttery bokeh.
Vivitar 24s or 28s made by Komine are found in this price range as well, look out for the close focus versions. Every now and again a f2 version will show up.

I'd keep an eye out for the K24 f2.8, very very sharp lens with great build quality. You could also keep an eye out for some of the Vivitar 24s and 28s especially in f2 form, they are raved about by some on other forums. Last but not least, build quality has decreased over the years so a K is more solid than an M which is more solid than an A which in turn feels light years better than an F or FA. Excluding the *s and Limiteds of course.
I'd also like to second or third the vote on the 28 f3.5 in whatever format, its a seriously sharp lens.
