DELICATE - key words: fragile, tender, subtle.
Express it with the subject of photo, as well as with PP.
Is it glass, flower, people, still-life, memories, touch, feeling, abstract - let your fantacy fly.

exif included with the pic (avoid saving for web, that might loose the data)

I shall go first then. Delicate tones and colour of this rose really caught my eye. Shot at f16 Gausian blur added in CS3 no saturation added though, just curves and LAB sharpened. Sigma 105macro K20d

Delicate - first wash of a calf by its mother, straight after the birth.

...and I can assure you this was straight after! The best 'reality' show is Nature itself - what a performance!
Mother and calf both doing well and survived the next two nights , before we had to leave.

Mid-afternoon 30 June 2010. K10D with 50-135; 95mm, ISO 100, 1/125th @ f2.8 handheld.

Reaching Out

Comment Image

Photographed (K20D and Sigma 70mm Macro; 1/400 at f8, 400ASA) mid-morning using natural light and a neutral(ish) backdrop placed just behind the clematis shoot. I found the freshness and delicacy of the growing tip with its covering of fine 'hairs' (not easy to appreciate at this size) apealing as it 'reached out' and searched for somewhere new to anchor and extend its growth.
