Does anyone know the law?

I am a part time wedding tog, I always get my clients to sign a contract that says I have thier permision to use the shots. However, if I want to use a shot that has other guests in I would need to contact them and get permission before I use the picture.

So, how can people post pictures all over facebook that have sveral other people in the picture without permission. Is this breaking some sort of law?

[quote:3496ace15f="ripstar74"]Just to TRY and get the thread back on track, did anyone look at the Lenovo W700? The more i see about it the better it gets. Not only does it have a graphics tablet built in AND a retractable second screen, it ALSO has a built screen calibrator ! WOW.
You are completely off your rocker

First you complain that Mac laptops are 3 times the cost of PC laptops.

Now you are suggesting the Lenovo W700.

A MacBook Pro costs between £900 and £1900 depending on configuration. I won't bother listing the prices of the cheaper Macbooks.

A quick look on Google Shopping tells me that your Lenovo W700 costs between £1400 and £4000(!!!).
I`m not suggesting the OP buys one , just bringing them to everyones attention and commenting that i think its a very innovative machine. Thats all.

You are obviousley very attatched to Apple products judging by your somewhat aggresive defense of the products, and good for you. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, right?

My opinion is they are overpriced. This is an open forum and if i want to state that i think they are overpriced i should be able to do so without being attacked from all angles by someone who disagrees.
Look, I don't want you to feel like you're being attacked. My 'aggressive defense' was simply a reaction to your initial post. I felt you entered the thread with a factually inaccurate and condescending single line post. Volatile stuff, especially when it's the old Mac vs PC thing Shall we call it a draw?[/quote]Ok, its a draw.

Yes it is quite pricey, another good feature is the ability to have two external monitors.

It is aimed at the graphic, photographic, engineering market so i`m sure the screen would be high quality.

My point was and still is if you buy Apple, then you are paying a premium just for the name.

I'm sorry, but I still don't get your point.
I was just pointing out the price difference for a machine that does the same task. You seem to be very agressive towards me for making this point. Is it because you feel some sort of buyers remorse and feel like you have to defend your decision to buy Apple?

Look, if the OP wants an Apple and understands the difference (including the price) then i`m not going to tell him he made a bad choice. At the end of the day you can edit phots on a mac, and you can edit photos on a pc. Neither will do it faster or better than the other. On the other hand an Aston Martin will go faster, and do things that your Renault cannot.

I found it again,

check out the w700 series on the lenovo website

It also has retractable 10" second screen. Very innovative, i have not seen either of these features anywhere else (including apple (dont shout at me))

Sorry Unlocker, I am not having a dig at any members here, just at Apple.

My point was and still is if you buy Apple, then you are paying a premium just for the name.

Apple are the only people that make Apple computers and therefore set thier prices as they wish.

The second side to my point is that you can anything a mac can do on a pc.
