just outside your limit but close a Zenit Helios 44M-4 58mm f2 came with my father in law,s old Zenit 11 he gave me last year along with a photax 135 f3.5. just put it on K5 and did a quick snap across the roof tops. straight raw to jpeg conversion ,i was quite surprised at the result but have not used it since. think i will be having revisited this pic.

you may have to start all this with a new motherboard to mount all these nice new bits of hardware, that will need to be at least atx size so check your existing case is capable of taking this, you may also need a new power supply to run it all, definitely i would say to run a modern 1g graphics card, i have an old ati 4870 and that requires 2 power lines.

had a stroll in the snow, at least i had a warm house to go back to not like these creatures. they graze the local common as has always been done and it is now an area of special scientific interest due to the rare flora , fauna and butterflies etc.

Never, nothing ever goes into, or onto, my eyes. Even when I had iritis I was "fighting" when they tried to put on the forceps that keeps your eyes open

+1 just freaks me out even thinking about sticking something on my eyes.

I also wear glasses with transition lenses but I take them off when I'm photographing and let the autofocus do the work
This makes sense, however I am near sighted and anything past about 5m looks like a blur to me. No way I can see small objects ay a distance.
Regards, Horst
Pentax do a replacement dioptre with a larger adjustment range ,twice that of the standard one, but being Pentax it is probably very expensive but would sort out the problem

does the Katseye have to be shimmed or can it be dropped in as a straight replacement on a K5
