Fantastic detail in the enlarged images. Presumably these were taken on a tripod? If not, then amazing if hand held!

Morning guys. Thanks for comments which are both helpful and interesting. I only included the last image as my wife picked it out as her favourite. She definitely has the artistic eye whereas I can't see the wood for the trees!

We have had snow and ice here in Lancashire for a couple of weeks but we have managed our daily walks. I noticed the moss on the stone walls have been poking their fruiting bodies through the ice. Photos over several days taken with either 35 or 105 macro lenses on a KP. Hand held, manual focus, leaning over walls, balancing on one leg, cold hands, changing light conditions. I am more of a slow "record" shooter, tripod, careful focussing, checking exposure etc so these are more "grab shots" so getting anything in focus was a bonus. Thoroughly enjoyed developing my technique which ended up swaying backwards and forwards until focus looked right. Hope you enjoy the results which have been "adjusted" in Lightroom.

A nice set. Number 4 is my favourite. Is the colour in 2 natural or a sepia tone added?

Really enjoyed looking at those Gareth. A wide range of subjects and styles. Unfair to pick one out but number 6 hit me on the first pass.

Bill, book arrived today but my wife took it away, still in its nice wrapper. It is a Christmas present for me so I will just have to wait. Thank you for your talent and for making the effort to produce something for a good cause and for me to keep.

My son bought us a theatre voucher last Christmas which of course is still unused.

I sing (very badly) in our Municipal choir and this was our centenary year. We had so much planned and I have missed the singing and fellowship immensely. If we manage to get together next year it will be an anticlimax and I suspect we will have several longstanding members who will not rejoin. This is a choir that has given several concerts every year come what may, including a World War.

Don't suggest to me that we accept a "new normal" and can watch theatre and concerts online. It doesn't cut the mustard.
