I can only advise you to shoot RAW.
I use the combination of Silkypix and Photoshop. and if needed I can throw in Artizen HDR for some HDR work and PT lens for some lens correction if needed.
I would suggest to shoot RAW as well. You always can convert to JPG in Picasa (even so it is not the best of convertors) if the shots are spot on. If they are not your buggered with JPGs alone.

Sadly it seemed to speed up just as I was removing the extension tubes...

... knock the wine glass, about a third full, off its perch. It falls in slow motion, but still fast enough for its contents to go everywhere.
'Oh dear' I say (or something like that, I don't recall).
Gripping story although the mention of the exact location where you put down your wine was a bit of a giveaway.
His days are numbered...

If you encounter any problems with operation of your new K10D I'm sure here is the right place to ask. Quite a few members with this model here.
I probably won't be able to help as my *istD is still going strong.
Cheers,

I had a look at the shots when they were first up and wrote my comments then. Just to repeat it: Nice collection. If you're not very careful you will start enjoying shooting weddings...
I guess there are just too many shots to get into c&c (and it's hard to keep track on the numbers with so many). I have seen some slightly blown highlights (or at least close to) but that is difficult to avoid with the midday sun (example is the second one, which BTW is lovely, where the nose and the flowers are a bit hot). I just adore the little boy in number 9, I think this is my pick of the bunch.
And the third one is priceless, good reaction on your part!
I would be interested to hear how the happy couple rate your shots compared to the pro ones.
I think I would have been pleased with your shots would that have been my wedding. And don't forget, here in the forum we look at exposure, focus, DOF etc. which are all important. But at the end of the day the question is, have you succeeded in capturing the mood and atmosphere of the day in the opinion of your customers.
For these shots my guess is "yes" here.
Cheers,
Prieni
