I guess you have to disable the "200% D-Range" function in the Fn menu where you change the ISO settings, you will find a note in the manual that when this enabled the min ISO is 200 (not 100), as well as some threads on pentax forums discussing this function.

My K10D really needs to go back to Pentax so that I can get a mark looked at on my sensor (Too heavy handed with my rocket blower).
It may need a new sensor or maybe just a clean but can anyone tell me what their turnaround time are like?
Thanks.
BTW, usually there is a filter in front of the sensor, so it is not possible to scratch sensor, you may give it one more go and see if this is just a dirt or really some mechanical damage on the filter.

Just noticed on a batch of all photos taken some day recently with K20D something smiliar (but not exactly same) to vert banding shown earlier. Photos were taken in rather warmer than colder temp (10-15 degC ish, nice last Sunday weather in London ), this exists in RAW, tried few mores now, indoor, with different light and same issue happens, tried different mem card, different iso, issue is still there, so rather looks like a perm fault (?).
Below link to some example, it is part of the sky (and these light conditions helped to show the issue) after applyng "equalize" function in gimp, look at left edge - very visible sign of problems, then pattern seems to be rolling across the frame (much wider than few pixels width shown earlier), ignore the dirt spot .
I guess I'll start queuing for a warranty repair now.

IT'S DODGY.
When I access it, I get an Image saying IE cannot display it ... which is odd for two reasons; an image and the fact I use FF.
Page just displays image file of the screenshoot with a IE showing "cannot display", (exact file is http://www.softshop24.com/pix/fhome2.jpg), maybe somebody wants guests to the webpage to go away now .

It must be my "not the best" use of English that gave you wrong hint .

SMC Pentax-DA 55-300mm.
Inexpensive but excellent.
Good for the money, but I'm afraid if sigma 100-300/4 was not good enough in terms of image quality, this one surely will not be better, although it will be better in _quality for the price_ terms.

Not sure if somebody mentioned that already, but maybe somebody could be interested, saw today in the Oxford Street (London) branch they have a bunch of pentax fit sigma 70-300 for 67 pounds.

PS. ah, forgot, non APO. They have a pentax 50-200 for 100 pounds ish as well .

Hi,

I have other lenses (which I'm using mostly) which cover this focal range, so this one has no much luck to be used, so I decided to find her a new owner.
It is in a very good condition, obviously no sign of fungus, aperture blades clean. It has a retractable hood.
Looking for some 40GBP.
Collection welcome (London).
