Can anyone answer my question ?. I have been looking over some photos taken on the same day using same camera and lens. Some look nice and sharp while others look a bit soft to my eyes. Can someone offer up a reason why this is.

With Penrtax spending all the time developing the new k7 to try and corner part of a very compeditive market it seems to me they have just shot themselves in the foot with these price increases. Who in there right mind is going to buy into a system that has so dramaticly increased there prices on lenses as they have done.

If you can wait until the initial rush has passed it's pretty certain that prices will drop, has done with every other DSLR produced. Manufacturers know that some people have the new model as a "must have", once the sales to these guys dry up there needs to be a little more incentive for others to follow - this always means price !!

Thats the way I was thinking it also gives you the chance to see if any flaws arise from the early production models if you wait a little while.

Doesent SRS offer a price match deal any way, spending that kind of money I would tend to go with a company I know and trust.

I have had dealings with Pentax over my k100 D on the first occasion they replaced the camera and on the second the camera was repaired and back with me within 3 weeks. Recently my K10 was dead nothing working when fired up sent it back to SRS who then sent it to JP Service solutions the camera is back with me now after only 10 days after having the fault repaird and a general check and test. I cant fault either service which I feel has been excelent.
