I recently came back from the Isle of Wight where I visited Dimbola lodge. On display were a collection of stereo images. I visited the site http://www.londonstereo.com/index.html Brian May of queen fame has an interest in this and there is a link which takes you to some stereo images that Brian took with a Pentax ES II http://www.londonstereo.com/modern_stereos_queen1.html
The site is very informative so might have a go a some stereo images myself
The exhibition is well worth a look so if you are going to the isle of wight soon be sure to take a look.

Our local football club has an area on their website where fans can upload photos for other fans to see.
This is a condition of uploading, "By submitting your photos you agree that ************** are able to use the photos without restriction."
So my question is are they effectively gaining the copyright to the pictures?

Being a member of Pentax user gave various benefits, primarily for me it was the quarterly magazine and was complemented by this website with its forum and other online content. Since the magazine has been withdrawn I think clarification needs to be made with regard to whether the magazine will re-emerge in online format. I can't at the moment see what is gained by the £9.99 yearly subscription other than gallery uploads per day and some discounts from various suppliers.
Clearly the website has a cost and since the subscription as was has now ended I would assume that some of this cost is met through advertisements. However to address the point that Greynolds999 makes maybe ALL users of the website, forum users, gallery posters etc etc should pay a yearly subscription and be entitled to PU Membership. As it stands there will be a two tier community with a danger that those who choose to join PU membership becoming an elite clique. If everyone was required to join as a member costs would be lower and everyone would be part of one "club".
