Like John says not all clubs are alike. At Holmfirth where I am a member we limit the no of comps to 6 per year. Every body is welome of all abilitys and we are starting to see more younger members now joining. This year we have had 6 guest lectures. and more planned for next year.

Our camera club Holmfirth have always used sRGB as do the YPU. It is in the YPU rule book and also the PAGB use sRGB

Don't forget that the K5 uses the same sensor as the D7000.

Hi I am taking a trip to Norway in January 2013 hoping to see the Northen Lights. I have a Pentax K5 how long do the batterys last in the cold.

Hi I have been using lightroom from the when it it came out. I am now using edition 4. I think it is easy to use and with the new pricesit is a no brainer. The best book I have used is lightroom 4 by Martin Evening.

Clubs can be very good if you can find one that suits you. I have been a member of Holmfirth for about 8 years holding various posts and really enjoy it.
