my second battery is a non-pentax battery,and it lives in the grip(£45 from jessops)and that is the only place it will go !!!

i started with a k10d,changed to a k20d(only for more pixels) thinking image quality would increase vastly. i am newish to digital !!
having played with the k20d, i now want to really understand what it is capable of.hopefully then i will find out what i am capable of.i can understand people wanting new gizmos etc,and if it makes you happy,great.
personally,i will stay with my k20,and try to get better. also learn about software,and printing,and photography in general.this site is a godsend to all us newbies,because we can ask any questions and get help from more knowledgeable people.this is also a friendly place,with many viewpoints and opinions,but a common love of photography,that we all enjoy.if we were all the same this would be a boring site

steve,just like to wish you good luck in finding new homes for your fathers' gear.there is a lifetime of fun and memories in that list.

a friend of mine has a d300,and there sees to be a 'good reason' for this/that shot being just not quite right. But, it is never him!with my k20d however, if the picture is poor i know it is me, not my camera
