Seriously though, i appreciate members passing on bargains they have found. Grips at je%^&ps £45,and flash at John Lewis £89 etc.

As a relative newcomer,i hae used comments such as "stunning image" a few times. As oldies,cronies and various other titles used(humourous) ,i would hope you will excuse my lack of knowledge. I use words to express how the images make feel,mainly jealous. I aspire to become a better photographer,use Pentax gear out of choice,and maybe unfairly,look to all of you for help.
I will endevour to learn from other places,as well as here,so as not to offend or irritate other members. But i will be staying.
Who knows George,in 50 years maybe i can replace you as the forum misery,said VERY tounge in cheek !

I agree, i love the feel of my k20.The way it sits in my (small) hands.
In SRS it felt better than other brands.I like looking through the viewfinder,but would like a moveable screen.NOT to keen on the touch screen idea,but would like AF and lenses reviewed. Really not interested in video, bought mine to take still photographs !!!

As a relatively new member to this forum,i am impressed with the amount of friendly people on here. I am as guilty as most (probably more) of simple questions on the forum, and i still have more,sorry!
I thought that by coming to a Pentax forum,being in a photographic minority,i would learn from like-minded people. I understand that the same old questions become boring, so why not start a "newbie section".
But then this starts a "them and us" scenario.I have asked members for help,now i hope in the future i can help someone new (not just yet though !).
What makes an "unusually splendid picture" to me, may not move George in the same way. Surely this does not mean my opinion is less justified does it ?
In response to the BBC, they need policing more than we do !
I introduced a friend to this forum,as a friendly ,helpful place for Pentax people. Please dont prove me wrong.
I am now even more worried about posting my photos here,in case they do not meet standards i cannot reach.
