Coming back to Pentax

Hi there ,at he end of last year i sold my Pentax kit and bought the Canon 450.To be honest i've found the swap of brand very disappointing to say the least ,hence the fall off in interest in my photography .So ,i'm coming back to Pentax .So depending on sale of my Canon kit ...450 body , 18-55 IS kit lens , battery grip (5batteries),Sigma 70-200 f2.8 . Kit i'll probably be after would the K10/K20 probably K10, i'll be after 16-45 or similar ,sigma 70-200f2.8 again(great lens).Having lost touch a wee bit on the kit and prices i'll gladly take onboard any advice from you guys on here.

Serves you right for changing, only joking of course but now you have seen the light, you won't sell your canon stuff on here so better try fleabay

I'd look for a used K20D at a good price. One issue with modern DSLR's is AF accuracy, or more accurately, AF inconsistency with different lenses.

The K20D can hold individual settings for up to 20 lenses.

That option is available on the K10D, but there is only one adjustment which is applied to all lenses.

Just keep looking in the Classified Ads forum, as people upgrade to the K-7 some secondhand K20/K10D are bound to appear there. Also SRS are carrying secondhand K20 bodies as well (it's advertised on their web shop) although chances are you'll be able to buy one privately for less.

Oh, and apparently there are GX20s being flogged cheap in the Dixons airport shops.
