Ignoring the speed of the AF between both cameras, I am talking about the accuracy.
Is the AF on the K-7 better than the K20D?
I ask as I have intermittent problems with the AF on the K20D. It does not matter which lens is on, but having said that it is only 3 that really have the problem. I have used the AF adjust but to no avail. Having said that, sometimes the lens is spot on, others it is way out. No problems though with the lenses on the DS, but still very occasional issues on the K10D.
So My question is, the K-7, is it more reliable? Please only answer if you have or used both a lot.

At F2.8 there is nothing in it. At F5.6 you can see a more rounded Bokeh with the WR model, but only just.
I suppose it depends on what you are going to use the 100mm for. If you are going to be out and about in all weathers then the WR model is going to be more suitable. Otherwise it might be better to go for the "standard" lens and save money.
In the meantime, I am going to stick with my Sigma 105mm EX Macro.

I only use FF at home as I much prefer it, It might be slower to start up than IE, however when running, much more stable for me.
It work however, it is IE, due to legacy apps that won't work with FF. However the IT director is a big fan of FF rather than IE and is looking at ways to get the apps to work on FF instead. Still I do have FF on the works PC as well, and use it for surfing.
However, all of us in IT at work seem to have FF as well, which must say something
Chrome, like some bits but not others.
Opera, Too many web sites don't support it.
Safari, great on MAC, hopeless on Windows.

Japan only at the moment, The sooner it comes to blighty the better. Now start saving.
I hope the lens range becomes more extensive soon too, as only a 55mm to start with (only an effective 32mm in 35mm terms) is not much.
Still, I WANT ONE.

Not putting a pic, but I do have the Sigma 170-500mm and it is a long as the bigma. Now until someone come up with their own 1200mm A* F8 we are stuck at 500mm...........

Cheers all, you might have saved me £140!
the 55-300 sounds good, I already have the Sigma 70-300 for my sins...However I am looking at the 60-250 instead but that would be too bulky for abroad....

Has anyone got this lens? if so what do you think?
I am asking as LCE have some copies really cheap and I am considering it.
Not for my top shots (I have others for this) but for travelling. It would reduce my lens count when abroad. However I am concerned that it is not all it is cracked up to be. If I got this lens, then my lens count for trips abroad would be 3 (this, the nifty and the Sigma 10-20) but If I dont, then I would probably take the 16-45, the 10-20, the nifty and the 50-135, each lens being quality and sharp, but bulky.
What do you think?

And the Tamron 18-200 is a LOT cheaper at LCE. Not telling you by how much as you might beat me to it........
