The Mighty Spotmatic with the Super Takumars. Yummy!
It may create a minor resurgence of Pentax interest, especially if repeated on BBC1/2.
Downside might be increase in Super Tak lenses and M42 converters, so get buying those lenses whilst you can........
On another note, he did use another camera I have, the Rolleiflex Automat. Could'nt tell if it was a Zeiss F2.8 or a Schneider F3.5 model though.

Both stunning lenses and perfect for most of my portrait work.

I especially like the Einstein conversion, the colour actually has more impact.
As for the Time Square kiss, that is far better in monochrome.

Well I say a problem, but it's more of an inconvenience.
Last week in London, I had my K10D and was shooting accordingly.
Now if you can visualise the Pentax AF points (of course we can! LOL)
The nine square cross haired points in the middle area, the left middle - one to the left of the centre point, will not focus. I only had one lens with me, but I would be very surprised if it was the lens.
Like I say an inconvenience rather than a major issue - the others were fine.
Thoughts?

I have bought a Samsung GX10 with kit lens for £195, I apologise for it not having a Pentax badge but the most important thing is that I can stick my Pentax lenses on the front. I just could not afford to lay out any more money ( MOT due next week) and if I tried to hold on to the money and save there would always be another household bill or repair which will eat my savings. Thank you everyone for your comments
One thing I have noticed with the K10D(GX10) is that it is the last of the CCD sensored Pentax bodies. The colour redition is a little different. Not better or worse than my K20D or K-5, just different. As a result I have found it better for landscape work.
I don't know why, but I prefer the results from the K10D over the K20D for this specific area.
Still, you have got a great camera, and you will enjoy it a LOT

Interesting article in the Feb edition of the "Advanced Photographer" magazine (something I bought on the spur of the moment)
They did a group test of the Fuji X10, Pentax Q and the Ricoh GXR with the A12 module.
In the end the Fuji won (no surprise - it is the "Pro" compact of the moment) the Ricoh third, but the Pentax Q was second. They loved the IQ, and the build, as well as the ergonomics.
However they did put that the Q had a 2/3" sensor!!!!
I wonder if they realised that it only has the 1/2.3" sensor, and if they did'nt, would it get more points as a result.
Still, It was a good honest review that ignored the sensor size and showed what the Q is, which is an excellent small CSC camera with a mighty IQ.
I am getting more tempted into getting one by the day.

1. DA* 28mm F1.4 (fast, giving correct FOV as the eye on APS-C)
2. DA* 135mm F2
3. DA* 200-400mm F4

Time for a new ad campaign with the old vintage advert on the left, namedropping David Bailey's ES, Mick Jagger's Spotmatic etc, and a modern version on the right, with David Attenborough's K7, Paris Hylton's Q, Bear Gryll's K-01 etc....
